His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum officially launches the 41st edition of Arab Health Exhibition & Congress

Showcasing the latest innovations and breakthrough procedures; Arab Health 2016 features the future of healthcare

Dubai, UAE, 25 January 2016: Arab Health Exhibition & Congress 2016, the Middle East’s largest healthcare event and the second largest in the world, was officially inaugurated today by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance. The event will span over four days from 25-28 January 2016 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre and will welcome more than 115,000 attendees to the 41st edition of the show.

The exhibition will showcase more than 4,000 companies exhibiting their latest innovations to visitors attending from 163 countries. This year promises to upstage previous years by adding 3D printing to the Arab Health agenda in a newly added 3D Medical Printing Conference and a 3D printing zone, a unique open space for all those who are seeking for dedicated educational experience about the latest 3D technologies. The evolution of 3D printing is changing the ability doctors have on impacting patients’ lives, it has moved from being theoretical to a reality as major medical advances are witnessed because of this technology.

His Excellency, Humaid Al Qatami, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director-General of the Dubai Health Authority said: “Dubai is a realistic and excellent model for a highly developed modern city that constantly demonstrates elements of success and excellence. In addition, the 2016 MEDLAB exhibition will include more than 500 companies exhibiting their latest innovations to more than 30,000 healthcare professionals from 37 countries. MEDLAB will host 13 country pavilions, further enhancing the range of hospital equipment, medical equipment, medical devices and medical technology on display at the exhibition.

The Arab Health Exhibition & Congress is currently underway and will be taking place until Thursday 28th January 2016 in Dubai, at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
